The Pearson BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Food and Beverage Service Supervision is a Technical Level qualification which has been designed to be around a third of a full-time curriculum. This Food and Beverage Service Supervision course will enable learners to develop a significant common core of knowledge, including understanding the legal and social responsibilities of a Personal Licence Holder. The course also provides the opportunity to study in more depth a range of option areas of their choice, such as the supervision of hospitality events.

All credits must be achieved from the units listed in this specification in order to gain the qualification. The learner will also require a placement to achieve the practical part of the qualification.

Six of the units require a placement so that observational evidence can be gathered to prove you are occupationally competent.
